I didn't notice anything. I just did it to do it and couldn't tell a difference. Also, I was too lazy to put it back in so it's still off of my car to this day.

noise mod. You can hear the turbo and BOV more clearly. Thats about it. Wont hurt to do. I like the sound of mine.

Well won't it suck when you're doing 55+ on the highway?

Im actually thinking of adding a resonator to my blitz Nur-spec R aka: grapefruit shooter so I can take the silencer out of the 4" tip. The silencer makes the rediculously big tip look even more stupid since there is a 4" tip with a hole less than 2" inside of it. From what you guys are saying it shouldnt cause a reduction in performance so why not.

Hmm, I think we are talking about the silencer that is part of the intake that is in the drivers side fender, not an exhaust silencer, lol.

But yeah, mine is out, I had a short ram in there but just went back to stock, minus the silencer. I noticed absolutely no difference between stock, short ram, and stock minus silencer.

But, I have heard removing the silencer will give you like 1-3hp, so, I wouldnt be able to tell if my car had 1 more hp regardless of if removing the silencer gave me my 1 hp, doh.

I'm confused... my post now makes no sense.

Anyway, the intake resonator removal is not noticable for hp, but i can hear my turbo sucking and bov seems louder.
