Removing intake manifold

Removing intake manifold

I want to remove the intake manifold to paint it, has anyone done this, I searched scoobymods.com and got nothing, anyone with experience doing this who could walk me through it? Thanks.

its a pretty major operation to do that. I would sugest getting a hold of a service manual for that

how can i get a service manual? just get the sti manifold from gruppe-s only its only $300

I wouldn't attempt the intake manifold removal without the service manual but here's the procedure from wrXratd's site.

With the manifold removed, you get to look at the Tumble Valve Generator.
