can a *** import wrx MY95 run correctly with the rear replaced with a stainless steel silencer
mine has been replaced by a silencer and am suffering lots of backfires in the exhaust on WOT with a bit of hesitation.
would my ECU be confused with the rear cat missing and cause this coz everytime i reset my ecu it goes away and eventually comes back after a day or so like if its relearning its gone

any tips

there is 2 cats on the stock wrx exhaust isnt there(imports etc)
one sort of under where yur gear lever is??

 

Yes 3 catz, of which I have none!!!!!!! Oh and backfires are THE COOLEST!!!!!!

 

yes but when this happens i get a big loss of power for a sec or two.could my replaced final cat cause this coz is was replaced with a stainless steel silencer

my car has backfiring and loss of power on WOT only .its like a force in the exhaust pushing against the exiting gases.
my rear cat has been removed and this all started since then
could my ecu be acting up not recognizing the rear cat??

 

running rich = power loss...get a fuel computer or an ecu and lean it out a little
