You shouldn't get any mods at all if your worried about warranty issues.


But it's best to ask the dealer that you bought the car and PPP from.

I don't think reflashes have "real" dual maps, but both ECUTEK and ACCESSECU reflashes are invisible to the dealer's diagnostic equipment, so they would never know. It's not like the APR/Garrett upgrades that have new chips or sockets soldered onto the module.

With the Ecutek reflashes you can have two maps installed.

Talk to your authorized ecutek reflasher/tuner for more info on this. Perhaps you can work out a stock map and a performance map. The maps are switchable via your defog switch in conjunction with holding down the pedal down at WOT.

NOTHING is warranty safe in a Subaru. If you so much as sneeze in the car they will somehow try to link it to a problem.

SOA has said that the PPP are not warrented, but they are warrented in Europe.
