Are Prodrive kits warranty safe?
I have read speculations that Prodrive stage 0 and stage 1 kits are offered and covered by Subaru dealerships. It this true? If not, is there any way to prevent the service techs at the dealership from knowing the ECU has been reflashed? I came from a GTI where the "chip" could be reprogrammed back to undetectable stock settings from the cruise control button in the car.

With the Ecutek reflashes you can have two maps installed.
Talk to your authorized ecutek reflasher/tuner for more info on this. Perhaps you can work out a stock map and a performance map. The maps are switchable via your defog switch in conjunction with holding down the pedal down at WOT.
