possible hks cel
Does anyone have a hks dp and carbon-ti combo?
If so, do you have any cel problems? I'm wondering
if this would work with my stock wrx ecu. Also, how
difficult is a dp to install? Can my local muffler shop
do the job? Thanks for any info.

You can do it yourself...... well....... maybe not, since you have to have Vice Clamps to get he factory exhaust springs back in...... But yes, your local muffler shop SHOULD be able to do it.
I have the Carbon TI, but not the HKS dp......... not good enough for my needs. (I went with the Bosal DP) I get CELs every once in a while, but I just clear them with my scan tool. it took 157 miles to get my first one.

Where would I get the bosal dp? Is it as good as the
perrin dp? Would these bolt up with my carbon-ti? Also, is the
re-flash a good idea for these mods? This way I'd get more power and no cels with dp and carbon-ti.

Between the Perrin, Bosal, and HKS. The Perrin wins hands down. But you pay for it.
The HKS is only a good downpipe as it removes your catalytics. But it's design is a little undesireable. A CEL is almost guaranteed
The Bosal has a good design and keeps your factory third cat. But as far as I know, there is only one vendor selling it and it's hard to come by.
The Perrin.... Replaces both cats, solid & Pruven design, thick flanges... What more could you ask for? A CEL is almost guaranteed

Every WRX with catless uppipe and downpipe i've been ride are all showing "Check Engine" light on... but everyone seems like just ignore it ! it is not really a big deal! anyway, i have mine light on again at second day after i drove back home from mall. also, after changing your whole exhaust pipe the boost will become 14.1 psi(data from option magzine) !!!

www.evailmotorsports.com has the CEL fix for under $10 I think. I have one, yet to put it in because the WRX isn't running right now.
