I had to do that with the frontmount in my grand national with no ill effects. As long as your mounting points will still work it should work just fine.

hiding the "blitz" will help with the popos as well.

Then I see no problems. It's not like your changing the direction of flow through the intercooler, you just changing the direction of outiside air over your intercooler, and the fins/bars are not uni-directional.

Now get to work!

i think the blitz is just sprayed on by the owner with stencils. I've seen blitz IC's without the logo.

The problem is not with the top bracket, but you may run into problems on the side brackets...I looked at mine b/c I was thinking of flipping it around (so the black sides wouldnt show) but Davon noticed on mine that the holes for the brackets on the sides come out a little more (they are not centered) You might still be able flip it, but it will not sit the same way...not sure if it will come out more or go in more though.

Also modified brackets would probably fix that.

James, why not take an hour or so with a pair of tweezers or a mini-screw driver and bend the fins straight again? Problem solved.

yea thats what i do every week when i wash my car. It works for the occasional bent fins but when you have a pretty big spot where they are all bent its impossible to get that new look back.

Would it be possible to cover the IC with some sort of mesh grill type thing?
