Recently bought the Perrin System and it does'nt link up with my stock down pipe. The shipping reciept says WRX, is there a difference between the two? The bolts Perrin provided wont even thread and the stock ones are to big so Im thinking SCO sent me the wrong stuff. Man Im pissed. And suggestions? Besides not ordering from SCO again.

 

What year wrx is it for? as far as i know i dont think the 02-04 would fit onto an 05 i think... not sure.

 

I have contacted the company and the part numbers match up. I hung the pipe and everything matched up except the bolt patern it was off by about a 1/4 inch. The bolts provided by Perrin are to large for the stock system I am linking up to. The stock ones are to short as well. Oh this is frustrating. Oh yeah i drive an 05 STI

 

No problem with exhaust just with my brain. I knew I should have turned off the car when working on the exhaust. Their is a small washer like fitting inside the stock CAT hit that with a hammer and it comes out. Put Perrin exhaust on and bolt up nicely..thank God.. its been great!
