Question Perrin 3"

I was doing some searching and I noticed the Perrin 3" Cat back. Does anyone know anything about it??? I like the Dual tip design. The price shown on one site was $702.

Does anyone recomend it????

Let me know!

Thanks in advanced

depend on what you're shooting for.

Price is a bit steep but the exhaust is built well, is sexy and has a nice sound to it.

Id just assume stick to my borla hush because it suited my needs. It's all on you though.

I have the Strömung 3" dual-tip and am happy with it. If I were to buy a catback today, I'd get the Borla Hush. I like quiet exhaust systems that don't get fatiguing on long trips or anytime when you want to listen to the radio without blasting it or hold a conversation with passengers. Quiet systems also don't attract attention from law enforcement.

I got my Strömung catback from auwrx (Brian) in the Vendors forum. Excellent service and usually replies to questions within 24 hours, sometimes even within minutes.

The Perrin is a extremly well made piece and very straight through (making it fairly loud on a catless car)

The Borla is a good option for someone looking for the stock ish look but the advantages of 3" piping and not so loud.

Shameless plug/ We stock both! /Shamless plug off

I am still leaning towards the Perrin. I would also like to do the downpipe in the future.

If I go with the Perrin I want to keep the cat for emission reasons.

Honestly, If you have the money and want a well made exhaust with a good rumble thn get the perrin.

If you want to spend less and want an exhaust with similar characteristics but with little cabin noise at WOT and highway speeds then get the Borla Hush.

Yep, I ordered my Perrin cat back from MPJ last week.....I cant wait to get it in.......any word on that yet Mike? Turns out I am going snowboarding this weekend, so I was hoping to pick it up maybe Thurs. providing it actually comes in when they said it will.

FWIW: I also had MPJ install a Helix DP, and a JDM catless UP, They did excellent work (as usual) with the exception of writing "wash me" in the dirt on my trunk lid.....HEY FYI.....<cough>DIRT AND DUST WILL SCRATCH PAINT<cough>...... and their prices were VERY GOOD.....

We have a little delay on the system from Perrin as they have not been at work all week due to the severe weather in the pacific north west. I will update you on the ETA later on this morning.
