Exclamation IS it okay to run my car down the track?

I was wondering if its okay to run my car down the track a couple of times. Its a 04 WRX 5800 Miles. I don't want to beat on it if it is bad. So is it okay to beat on it a couple of times down the track because I dont want to break nothing. thanx

if you know how to drive then there shouldn't be a problem.
don't dump your clutch at 5,000 rpm

i don't know how to race, yet, and i don't have money to pay for anything incase it breaks. so i'm keeping away from the tracks.

taking your car down to the track can get expensive , if you really drive it as you should on the track , tires and brakes will wear out very quick

^^^ You need some help as well. The first two sentences should be one and capitalize the "T" in the last sentence please.

What he said. I cant believe this guy is correcting peoples grammar. I'm not saying I have the best grammar but I just looked at 5 of his posts and only one of them was ok.

Oh and btw, if you want to start correcting GRAMMAR, then lets take a look at your post. First off, the "E" should not be capitalized. You never end a sentence with "...". There should be two spaces between the period and take. And as stated above, the "T" should be capitalized.

the "e" in english should be capitalized, as it is a unique name. and this is a car forum! not exactly a place to gripe about proper ellipsis usage! (technically, there should be a period after the ellipsis to signify end of sentence.) and if you're familiar with html, you'd know that the browser ignores the spaces after the first one, so even if he hit spacebar twice after a full stop, only one space gets displayed. unless, of course, the vbulletin inserts a special character for the non-breaking space into those extra spaces.

you can criticize, but it helps if you're familiar with what you're criticizing. that is not to say that complaining about a guy's lack of grammatical prowess on the web (of which i've seen much worse) isn't just trifle.

that said, inflate those tires, check your fluids, warm up and cool down properly. and, most importantly, know your limit! and if you are rolling on re92, well...god help you!

I'm so tired of seeing people being a$$holes over minor spelling or grammar corrections! It's just a freakin' car forum!

take it to the track and have some fun. It'll be addicting and possible quite expensive but its better than getting a speeding ticket and haveing your insurance sky rocket...

1. Don't dump the clutch
2. Don't slam through the gears
Keep everything smooth, smooth shifting, smooth clutch release and everything should be fine ....
