alright people i need some help my turbo just started making noise when on boost and hitting the gas sounds like a dentist drill and goes away when i let off...happend after a few days of up install

 

get some eggs and butter!!!

Yeah ur turbo gots a crack in the shell part of the turbo and let me quess u dnt feel the boost the same no more huh.

 

Have a low mile tdo4 for $150

 

I would check for leaks first, around the turbo. If you have a pipe that may have slipt somewhere that could cause that sound. If there are no leaks, youll have to pull the turbo out and check for cracks. if there is a crack in the turbo, its time for a new one.

 

no im still hitting boost like ive always felt it but i still gotta check for black **** around the gaskets for a leak

more like 3k and up when it hit woot id did a data log of the turbo to see if its dropping off fast to determin if i have a leak

 

so i just got back from the store and it sounds like a supercharger winding up so when someone asked me next time ill just say its turbo'd and superchargerd haha
