well i bought my rex about a month ago with an HKS bov and the stock boost gauge. ever since i got it it never boosted over .05mpa on the stock gauge so i took it into service and they said it's not covered under warrenty and they wouldn't look at it cause there are aftermarket parts. the tech said it could be a number of problems and he mentioned that my turbo could be shot. also he said its not holding boost like it should and is blowing off way too offen. please help

believe me i've checked all the hoses. the only one taht is different is the one comming off the in on the stock boost controller. it's blue but fits right. so the person that had the car before obviously messed with things. should that matter?? it's not the same thickness as the other hoses, but i checked it while revving the engine and it doesn't seem to be leaking anything. i ordered a stock bov hopefully that works
If you have the HKS super sequential, tighten the adjustment bolt all the way. Because of their design HKS says there is no way they can leak, bull****. The damn thing leaked at idle on my Talon. I had to tighten it all the way before it stopped leaking. After I tightened it, it worked fine.
