Modified WRX intake airbox

I plan on gettin a K@N filter but dont know if it makes any extra power. Any dyno results? and what can i do about the hole where the silencer used to be? Ne1 use some other filter to cover the hole so some cold air can still be sucked from the fender? Ever heard of the tornado? or where to get it? its supposed to be installed right b4 throtle body to spin air and create quicker easier air injestion. sumone out there must have tried one of these on their wrx and can get one 4 me. Thanx all, I-club Rules

Tornado = Crap , don't bother, at best you'll be out some money at worst it gets sucked in somehow and jams the TB.

K&N won't make any noticable power but the filter is cleanable.

For the hole get an OEM fender plug, an put that in there. It will fit. There is a pic and PN here:

Plug the hole in the fender w/ the OEM plug, you'll get air from the fender from the airbox.

I tired to reply to your PM but your box is full so I sent it Via e-mail. Not sure you got it or not.
