I really need to get an exhaust system soon. My ? is does the hks hi-power replace the mid pipe. Also If i get the hks and the helix up/down pipe does this make the exhaust a turboback. It will either be the turbo xs turbo back, or the comb of the hks and helix up/down pipe. I have narrowed it down to those two. Which is better, and gives you the most power. I allready have the txs utec. I have called turbo xs they said either one will work for the stage 2. Any help is great. Thanks

 

Many aftermarket downpipes replace both the stock downpipe and midpipe.

hks hipower exhaust does not replace the midpipe.

hks hipower with helix dp will be a turboback exhaust.


Either setup (txs turboback vs helix dp/hks hiper) is fine really, I'd say go with whichever one is cheaper.

 

the hks dp doesnt have a mid pipe with it alot of them dont come with a mid pipe but just go to a muffler shop and have it made its cheaper
