Is a continuous metallic, high pitched ringing noise that seems to be originating directly to the right of the power steering pump normal? As far as i can tell it rings at idle and when the car is moving but i don't think it gets louder as i get into higher rpms.

I found nothing from searching this site, clubwrx, and nasioc.
