I have a 99 2.5rs, I have been talking to the guys at nippon-motors.com; about two different engines and swapping ... The one engine is the ej20tt, and the ej20t. obviously the twin scrolling turbo and the single one.. can someone help me out with some info; on how hard of a job this will be. and which would be better in the long run?

 

From what I have read it seems that we can't use the ej20tt. something about it not fitting. also its from a legacy and pretty old.

 

thank you very much.. i have been talking to these guys at nippon-motors.com.. they so far have farely informative.. however; after like my 4th email they basically told me to go elsewhere for my info... so , anyhow how hard would the ej20t swap be to do? and what kind of power can i expect. I appreciate it very much, i plan on buying the engine come the first of march.

 

There are lots of guys running around with ej20t's in thier rs's.Keep looking on this site and nasioc for them.Also check out http://www.forcedairtech.com/FORCED-...URBO-KITS.html give these guys a call. They have done swaps.
