Try pulling tyhe code even if the CEL is off, it may still be in there. A pop when you let off the gas is sometimes normal, it's probably just afterfire. If you rev it slowly in neutral can you hit redline? If you rev it fast the needle may be lagging and you're hitting the rev limiter before the needle catches up.

alirght..so i went to paul but he went to a Funeral so no success there..maybe next week..hope everything is alright..anyways..if i rev it..it stops at 6k rpm..as i was drving back from paul's shop the speed needle is like floating...like if i was going 70 mph the needle would be boucing around at that speed like 67 or 72..not sure what is up..and also got a CEL finally..which is showing 1,2,3,4 cyclinder's misfiring..

Ok, well I'm out of ideas. The bouncing speedo would indicate to me that you have an electrical problem somewhere. Maybe a bad ground? All cyls misfiring could also be an electrical issue. Other than that, I'm fresh out of ideas. Try the shop again if you can't find anything loose. Post up here what it was when you get it solved. I'm really curious.
