Just got car back from dealer and now won't boost much?
I was having the problem over boosting by like 19psi and their was a boost controller on it. I brought it down to the dealer and they said their was a hose loose to the wastegate. But now I'm only boosting like 7 to 8psi. What do you think the problem could be? I"ve been told it could be the hoses at the T. But I swapped that and now it's same old crappy 7 to 8psi. And I called up the dealer today and the guy who worked on my car doesn't come in until monday. And then he's like so what's the problem and I told him it's only hitting 7psi and then he's like yeah that's factory. And I'm like look buddy don't pull my chain I know for a fact that's it's not 7psi and then he's like yeah I think you might be right. So hopefully I can get my boost controller that they stole off my car and two hopefully factory boost back. Please help!!!

yea the stock turbo shud b givin off 14.5-14.7 psi stock...was i think is happenin...i cud b wrong...probably am...but this is wat happened to my friend's evo...when u hav the mbc on but ur not using it...the boost guage will b readin wat the actuator is givin off not wat the turbo is...resulting in less/unaccurate psi reading...if mbc is no longer on...then try going back to stock and checkin both the wastegate line...seeing if there r any leaks in hose and thats its on all the way...and check hose connected to turbo...hope this helps

what brand gauge reads in megapascals?
Have you found out what the problem is yet? He could of turned the boost controller down and forgot about it. Does a stock turbo have a restrictor pill? He would of switched the lines around.

How long did you have a manual boost controller on the car?
What likely happened is that while you were running off the MBC, your stock boost solenoid failed from non-use/always trying to boost. It's a pretty common occurance for folks that bypass the stock solenoid for any length of time. A new boost solenoid runs about $113 form subaruparts.com.
