You can get a blitz rear section for that price. it will be "bassy" but may not be as loud with your stick piping. i had the rear section and it was loud becuase i have only one cat. it might be what you are looking for.

I got an 04 Wrx early july. On the second week after i bought the car, i installed a HKS Hi-power exhaust (midpipe included). I have been loving the sound of the exaust ever since the first day i installed it. The ej20 with the HKS produces a deep rumble, kinda like a harley. The only problem is that it attracts the police quite often , but there is always a silencer.

I'm saving up scratch for an HKS Hi-Power too. Suggest you look into it; makes good power too (for a catback). Gonna have to spend a bit more than tree-fiddy though: more like $550 to 575 or so.

Save more then get the whole system (uppipe, turboback) which runs between $900 to $1500 (wild guess) then there's a post regarding painted sideskirts at the baic forum just do a search..

daredevil: does the cobb reflash make that much difference in power over the uppipe and turboback? I'm seriously considering this as the next mod, but cant decide. its either an MBC set at 16lbs or the cobb reflash. does the stage 2 require 91 or 93 octane? most gas stations I go to only have 91.

here's another vote for the HKS Hi-power catback.

I just put on the Helix uppipe/downpipe combo this weekend and I cant stop driving. this thing sounds like a beast! the catback alone has a great tone, but you'll definately have to save a few pennies on top of your $350.
