well i have around $1200 to spend on my WRX and this is what i was told at the shop/
Turob XS state 1 chip - $550 (this is not the utec) since i really dont want to run different programs.
BOV = $160
HKS exhaust - $550 for Carbon-Ti $450 for the Hiper
WEll i was pretty much sure about the HKS but the guy told me to go for JIC Bullet 505 ($625) as it gives better HP gain than HKS. Turbo Mag did a review of HKS and the gain was 13HP or something. According to these guys JIC Bullet gives approx 15HP . IS THIS TRUE??
Also the labor would be around $160.
should i go for HKS or JIC. also do the prices seem to be in the correct ballpark or am i being hosed.

Oh well...... I'm super happy with it. Which BOV are you going to be getting? Personally..... I went with the GFB Hybrid BOV, as it allows for 100% or 50% Atmosphere. They have a new one out which is 100% Recirc, 100% Atmosphere, or 50/50. The reason I went with the Hybrid is because it gives me peace of mind that at least 50% of the air is being recirc'd and I'm not running TERRIBLY rich every shift. I don't know anything about the JIC Bullet.... nor what it looks like.... so I can't give you any advice there.

When i was about to get a rx7 i had my mind set on JIC all the way. They JIC exhaust is really nice. The sound is really deep, but this is on an rx7. The quality is nice thouh. They also have a Ti version but its close to a 1000, not really worth it but it does look nice with the burnt tip. The bullet SS is just stainless steel that has a shinny polish. Where are you getting this from, thats a great price for the hks though. doesn't it normally sell for 800+???
