oh man, I will be installing V7 STi top mount today on my 02 WRX. Didn't realize that there's an issue with AC line clearance...

SOme how it still rubs. I slit a heavy rubbe hose and wrapped the line, then secured it with zip ties. I didn't have a problem.

 

That's what I did well, I actually had a buddy throw me some old silicone hose. My engine bay is colorful

Installed the JDM IC yesterday, and it defenitely touches/rubs the ac line. I wrapped some thick rubber around the AC line, will see if it works. Anyone installed an STi ac lines before. Was it difficult, price? Part number.

 

Just a note, ALL non-stock intercoolers interfere with the A/C line in the 2002-2003 models, not just the STI one. I solved the problem by taking the A/C line bracket (clips that hold it in place) and moving it over and down one inch.
