Invidia downpipe w/ stock exhaust

Has anybody installed the Invidia downpipe with the stock exhaust? I'd like to know how the two mated together, and whether or not you experienced an exhaust leak.

Nope doesn't work. Gaskets and flanges don't match up correctly.

brnboy, are you sure?
I just bought one and am about to install it.
I only got it cause of the dyno sheet on the stock WRX so I assumed it mated up correctly.

I then called Invidia and asked them and they stated they had dozens of customers and actual dealers who have installed this on stock WRX and it fits fine.
could you explain why you state gaskets and flanges dont match up, if people have installed this and installed it with no problems?

the stock flange is stamped and tends to be reounded and does not match flush with the aftermarket downpipe flange. from what i understand there is a tendency for a leak......but does not happen all the time.

I've been running an Invida DP on the stock cat back for about two and a half months now. Bolts up perfectly, NO LEAKS! If you want to run the turbo heat shield (I did) with the Helix you'll have to cut it to clear the bell mouth. Hope this helps!

Edit: BTW I drive an '03 WRX........
