What stock Z runs 13's? anyways...

Accessport,Uppipe, Downpipe, exhaust, and a protune. Then get some good tires with light wheels and you should be easily in the 13's, possibly high 12's.

They run high 13's. At least the ones here do, and it is all uphill

jejeje true...

Do you recomend any specific brand of the part you mentioned?
I really want to do this right, and thanks a lot for the setup.

any other way somebody recomends, Im kinda avoiding engine management mods, because of their high cost. Is this a must just to achieve my goal?

EM is a must to achieve the times you want. Its also a must to keep your engine running well and for a long time. Trust me, its worth it. The Accessport is going to be your best bet and if you dont want to spend a whole lot of money get a used 1st gen since they ust started shipping the 2nd gen ones so 1st gens will be dropping slightly in price. The AP allows you to easily switch maps (say like pump gas and 100 octane) and also has some other helpful features like anti-theft maps.

Yeah you'll need EM. Buy a used accessport, you can get one for around $400-450. I have an Invidia TBE and it's great BUT it's loud.

if you want the most potential power from your mods then EM is the way to go. and as mentioned above, EM will help your motor last longer.

get a big turbo too with supporting mods (inj/ fuel pump) these will get your times up there.

after a good tune you should be able too. you should check out downsti's thread. stock 06 sti with a turboback exhaust and he actually hit 12s. so if you plan on using the vf39 (stock sti turbo) i dont see why not.
