Hydraulics System Problem?

Hydraulics System Problem?
My 2002 WRX (85,000 miles) suddenly has a very stiff clutch, the steering is heavy, and the brakes feel spongy. Other than all of these systems being hydraulic, does anyone have any idea how they may be related and what could cause these symptoms to flare up at the same time?
