Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

How many 100,000 mile US WRX's out there?

42k in a little over 18 months on my '03. that includes a 1500 mile trek to canada and back. VF34 has been in the car for over half that time. i've had 0 problems with the engine and drivetrain. in fact, the only warranty issues i've had are a seat that was creaky and came loose and a front strut started leaking.

Almost at 50k miles and running like day 1. Had the orig clutch swapped out at 15k due to studder.

Thought I was having an issue with valve seals (puff of blue smoke at startup) but it hasn't happened again. It might have been a result of using 5.0 Quarts at oil-change versus the 4.8 recommended in the manual????

I just hit 100k miles last week, 02 wrx sedan. If I hadn't been laid off last year from my job I would easily have been around 130k right now.
