I've seen these bladed vents for going under the hoodscoop to better direct the air. What do you think of them?

I would never buy one I'll make one. But then I thought, while I'm at it, why dont I I make a better chute for getting air to the turbo. Right now it has that sad excuse for a little flat hole that's cross-hatched.

Any thoughts?
