hks hiper cat-back banging!
I recently purchased an hks catback exhaust for my 2003 wrx. i've noticed that when i go through rough road surfaces the exhaust shakes and hits some part of the chassis making solid hits that are felt throughout the car. the exhaust is properly placed on hangers and instalation is perfect. i wanted to know if anyone has had experiences with this and can tell me where it hits and how can i eliminate it.

You might try purchasing some urethane exhaust hangers from one of our vendors, they are very stiff, and will keep the exhaust from moving.
only downside is they transmit more noise (resononce) into the cabin.

I have the same exhaust on my 02 but I've never had any problems like that....
though if I did I would agree... get some new hangers... also double check to make sure everything is attached properly...
you should have ditched the factory dounut joint because the HKS has a flex... having both might cause enough movement to bang stuff...
