hks downpipe mod?

hks downpipe mod?
I was thinking about buying an HKS dp and cutting a hole in front of the wastegate, then running an external dump tube. Would this work well or would the open concept cause turbulence?

it would be loud as hell ALL THE TIME....you cannot successfully divide the wastegate atmospherically....you'd always push regular exhaust thru the hole as well....
