Is this exhaust supposed to be super soft in noise? I have it on my car and although it has a huge HP gain, the sound is just rediculously soft considering that the outlet is about 4"-5" in diameter ...what do you guys think?

 

if you still have stock dp on then the sound its pretty soft like you say

yeah!!! the carbon-ti exhaust is one of the louder exhausts out there, although the Nur Spec might be a lil louder.

 

heck yeh it's loud. c'mon. stock is what 87 dBs the HKS gets up to 100+. hahaha. it's not legal in california. hehe.

maybe you need a turbo/injectors/fuelpump upgrade to hear the diffrence! lol nah i got all that and its still pretty soft, BUT i recently switched my map, and i'm boosting much earlier, meaning now its pretty loud but not very annoying, can't really tell while i'm driving.

 

with the silencer, it should be legal. i think the cutoff in california is like 95. i'm buying mine next week. i need to use the silencer. haha.

usdm ones don't come with a silencer. You'll have to get it somewhere else or special order from hks.
