HKS Carbon Exhaust
I've been lookin around for an exhaust for the scooby and decided on the HKS carbon. Whats everyones opinions on this system? Does it hang really low to the ground? Also I don't want something thats REALLY loud but I still want something that sounds mean. plus this exhaust just looks badass... Cheapest I found it for is $725 at this place

its still a lot of $$$ .. is there anywhere else out there that has it cheaper??

I have had my Carbon-Ti for a year. Lowered the car about an inch and have never had problems with draging it. Even over speed bumps. Has a very nice sound to it and get a lot of complements on it.
However, the size of the exhaust tip takes getting use to. It's pretty huge. If you are looking for a subtle look, definately not the right one.

I just got the HKS Hi-Power catback... same as the carbon one but without the carbon heh...
it's several hundred less too if you like that pipe but want it cheaper and could careless about the carbon wrap.
so far I love it... it has a fantastic deep throaty sound, and is made extremely solid. also in my opinion it's a lot more secure leak wise than the stock exhaust... they have a flex portion in the pipe that replaces this pain in the but "spring flex dougnut gasket" thing subaru has goin on the stock exhaust.
definite performace increase especialy in the low end. my rex used to just about choke and die if I you tried driving it under 2grand just because of the low power... it's still pretty weak down there but now it's drivable. also the engine breathes LOTs easier under acceleration it doesn't even seem like it's trying anymore! ")
oh yeah.. the tip is huge.. but so is the whole pipe.. I swear on a good day you could see the turbo from the tail pipe.

Car Info: 2016 Acura RDX ... meh. Um, nice subwoofer?
The HKS exhaust in question is a great piece, well built, nice return in terms of power for the money and sounds excellent, not very loud. I'd say get it.
Except for one thing.... do not waste your money on the Carbon Ti. Get the plain old Hiper from HKS. With the Ti you spend $200 to $300 for a carbon fiber wrapping on the can and a titanium TIP on the exhaust... that's it. No more titanium than the tip. The rest of it will fall apart in 100 years, but the tip will last forever, heh. And for the carbon fiber wrap? Well, it does nothing for performance. Without that crap, the Hiper still looks great and sounds and performs just as well. Save yourself some $

I had the TI for a couple of months and it was great.
My car is pretty low right now. I have tein HA's on my car and I had it "1 from the lowest setting. Anyways, I never had a problem with it. It's not that loud, but the tip is pretty big.
