HKS or Blitz BOV?????
i'm deciding which one to get...i was quoted a good price for a used blitz dd bov...but ppl say the hks one is better...?

so here is my question...

what is the difference(s) btw the two??
are they adjustable (50/50 or 100)???

i would go for the hks over the blitz. from what i understand the hks can be either 100% vent or a recirculating by-pass. is this true ssq owners?

on a side note, performance wise, a 50/50 vent or staying w/the factory bypass valve would be best

i am running stock turbo...gonna add a blitz sus LM intake later...wondering which is better?

the hks is only recirculating if you can find the recirculating adapter. other wise, out of the box, it's 100% atmospheric.

I had the Blitz...it makes a loud wooshing sound....sounds good, then i swapped to the HKS and it makes a loud chirping sound....WAY COOLER! Have you seen Star Wars? if so it sounds like a T.I.E. fighter's gun! It sounds so cool!

I had have both the new style Blitz and the old style blitz. The old style is much louder. I don't like the HKS whistle. My friend has one on his GT-Four and I think it would drive me nuts after a while.

My opnion i would go with the hks since it has a fitting for a recirculating adapter and a blow off valve that can be modified like changing the fin inserts.

I agree. I don't have a bov but thanks to Killaho and the link he gave, I was able to compare them all. The HKS reminds me of rally cars. Thanks for the link Killaho!

My friend runs a Blitz on his and I run the HKS on mine.

Side by side, the blitz sounds like Chhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Like a sneeze. HKS sounds like a whistle/chirp. Both are pretty cool sounding.

I have also heard the HKS on a DSM running high boost and it is deafening.
