Help!! Downpipe Install
Can anyone give me some advice on what to do about the downpipe to turbo nuts and bolts? I have actually taken all of them off before about a week ago with no problems. Now that I am trying to put this downpipe on they are nothing but trouble. I used alot of Rost Off and got three off. But the top bolt and nut near intercooler just spin together, i cant hold the nut and try to loosen the bolt even with all my strength. And the bottom nut near passenger tire, doesnt want to come off, i am unthreading the stud as i turn the nut. So i tighted everything up and put anti-sieze on the rest of the ones i took off. Maybe a couple of heat cycles will help? Anyone have a clue on how to take these off? Thanks for any help!
You shouldn't have that much problems if you've taken them off a week ago! If you have about 20-30k of miles on your and taken it off for the first time then car then maybe would be a *****. I always soak the nuts and bolts good with PB blast and wait about 15-20 Min. It does all the work for you. PB blast comes in a yellow can and you can pick it up at Autozone. So far its the strongest stuff I've used and works all the time.

Downpipe and CEL
Thanks. Well I finally got them off. I had to cut the top one off and the bottom one, I just wrenched off and stud came with it. Everything went back together fine and put anti-sieze on all bolts. Now I got a cel for cat defficiency so now I have to get a fix.
