Helix DP and UP Pipe ???

Quick questions for the gurus;

1. Will the Helix up and dp get rid of all 3 cats?

2. Who sells the mechanical CEL fix on this board.

3. If I do get a CEL (will I?, hopupracing said I may or may not)
is that just an annoyance and won't affect driveability?

4. THe up pipe does it require a CEL fix too?

Thank you all

BTW the quality of this Helix DP and Flex UP pipe are amazing for what you pay for.

1. yes
2. most vendors on the list.
3. reset ecu and it should be ok.
4. yes

Ive also heard great things about Helix. If you are worried about haveing no cats you can purchase a high flow cat and have a shop install it.

You can make the Mechanial fix yourself. That's what I did. I have the Helix pipes also. According to Gruppe-S you do not need a fix for the uppipe. After a week of no problem my Cel came on on thurs morning. I am trying to figure out if the problem was with the mechanial fix, not having a fix for the uppipe, or if it was something stupid like the gas cap on on tight. I'll let you know later today.

Thanks for the response.

I'm not too worried about having no cats, in fact I prefer not having any it but plan on getting a hi-flow later (unless that will not let me pass smog anyway), maybe after I get a turbo upgrade .

On #3 But if I'm on the freeway for example it will drive normal even with the CEL on right, excuse my ignorance, most of the check engines i've dealt with in the past, was mostly nothing like CEL's for loose gas cap on these newer cars like greddy5 pointed out.

Seem's like the resistor fix is used by a lot more members rather than the mech fix.

#4 I have not seen a CEL fix for the up-pipe on sites like gruppe-s or hopupracing, can anyone point me to link for these.

OT: what gains can I expect at the wheel or fly with the helix up and down, with stock exhaust system, stock ecu. I am about to get a cat or nocat back exhaust in 2 weeks. I'm leaning towards the espelir JGT500, JDM, nice quality, I've seen it a local shop, very good price, I was quoted 480 w/ silencer.

Thank you all
