thanks to mister 2 for this write up.. i also have the helix downpipe and borla hush exhaust setup...what i did was go to a local muffler shop and have them make me a 1/2 inch flange by tracing it from a gasket.. then from there, have them weld a 3" stainless pipe 5 inches long to the flange and there you go.. i just used the bracket to secure the two together that comes with the hush...

To piggy-back on this subject, I just recieved my catless Helix DP. I currently have a 2.5" Borla Catback installed on my 02 WRX. When I go to my friend that works at a muffler shop, what do you guys think I should have him do to make it mate up without leaks?
I'm sure someone else has ran into this problem before so if anyone has pics of their solution, please post them.

If your friend works at an exhaust shop, just have him:

- Weld on a flange on the 2.5 side
- Blend and weld the flange to the 2.5 side
- Cut and weld everything into one pipe

Guys that work with exhausts daily know about all of this and they should know how to handle the situation. Good luck and enjoy your new found power.

I believe that product is for the 3" Borla Catback exhaust systems. Mine is a 2.5" Borla Catback.
