Headwork
I just got my car back from the shop that was doing alot of work to my heads. All I can say is that the car pulls alot smoother than before. The work performed was a port and polish, five-angle valve job, 1mm oversized valves, and port matched exhaust manifold. Here are the pics of the heads.

Cost wise with the work and parts it all came together at about $2000. I havent gone to the dyno yet but i will try to as soon as possible. Only other thing I can say is if you ever have the motor ripped apart and have the opportunity to have someone do the work, go for it.

if im not mistaken they are used to get the right air/fuel mixture on cold starts. and the climate in sac is currently cold and getting colder so i dont think it would help. if i was in a mild climate that would have been one of the first on the to do list.
Like how much ? I am wondering because I am new to the whole head renewal thing. Do tumblers create some kind of turbulent backpressure into the cylinder head or something ?

from what ive been hearing, on startup the car runs very rough for the first 5-15 minutes. after warmup it should go back to normal.
