Well, it looks like a good price, but I've always found that you get what you pay for. Don't get me wrong, this may be great, but if you only pay $49 for it, that's probably all it's worth.

It looks to me like you will have les filter surface area with that cai. the more expensive units cost more because the filters are about 3/4 the size of a football(probably about 1.25-1.3 times the surface area of the stock filter. that filter appears to be about 3" in diameter. i would think this would actually restrict the intake. the stock box with a k&n filter probably flows better than that thing. just my opinion though.

That CAI looks pretty standard except for that crap air cleaner it comes with. I liked the claim "this intake makes more power than any other intake available" Did they test every intake available? AVO has found, through many hours of dyno testing, the the short ram setup(usually cheaper) makes more power on turbo cars then CAI does. This is due to the length of the piping. The difference in inlet air temp is not enough to offset the longer more restrictive piping it takes to get the air filter in the fender. The heat transfer to the air from the turbo is so great that the minor differences in inlet air temp before the turbo are insignifigant. The intercooler does substantial cooling of the air, and may be a better place to focus if air temp is a concern. Different story for non-turbo cars.

Yeah, since they are obviously lying about their product making the most power, what's keeping them from lying about anything else? I could think of at least ten reasons not to buy this product, a few of which include: If you have any problems with this product, what do you think XOXO's customer service department is like? what kind of warrantee do you think XOXO will really offer? what kind of an idiot can't think of a better name for his company than XOXO?!?!? do you have programmable engine management to compensate for the change in air fuel ratio that this part will provide? are you interested in how your car performs or how it looks under the hood? I could go on, but I think you get my point.

I've heard FAR more problems with CAIs than anyone has yet proven that they add power. Its just not worth it for any price or the hassle.
