GFB 50/50 Vs. HKS SSQV BOV

Does any one have a Clip of either of these on a WRX? Sound/video.

I read that the GFB has a soft whoosh to it, and im not sure how the HKS one sounds.

save your money and engine...

dont change your intake system... hack the silencer, its called a snorkus delete... free mod, and you will hear the WHOOSH a bit louder... it just makes your engine more audible, and while building boost too...

oh and someone earlier posted something about the hks being the loudest one out there... Not true... the loudest ive heard is the Turbo XS RFL (really fking loud) the hks has a secondary high pitch whistle along with an airy pshhtt...

the ONLY bov id ever recommend is the Worx tuning valve... its a dual stage bov... fully adjustable so your car doesnt have to run rich... it can run 50/50 which is safe enough to not run rich between shifts, and also vents to atmosphere the excess air beyond the point of return. GFB makes adjustables too, but they have a tendency to need re-oiling and may exhibit boost leak issues.

try the reviews section of the thread, there youll find many diff bovs to search the results on... feedback is given by those who have TRIED the product... its a good source.

also, search blow off valve, or bov, you will nail like 34920384092384320984230948230948409832402834283093 8094830948308403840394 results... because theres at LEAST one post about "best bov" every 2 weeks... the topic never dies... people just get tired of answering them...

so yeah, have fun
