Fuel pump replacement
Hi guys,
I bought a walbro fuel pump (GSS341), and was wondering if there are any guides on how to install it, or if anyone had any tips about installation. I haven't received it yet, so I'm not sure if it brings install steps.
if anyone has a link to install help, it would be appreciated.
BTW, this is for an 02 WRX.
Thanks
Dennis

Have you tried www.scoobymods.com ? There is usually a ton of how-to's on that site.
Other then that, it's relatively striaght forward on the install. Remove your back seat, have plenty of ventilation, and make sure not to tear the gasket on the tank cover are some of my bits of advice for ya.

It thought the direct replacement was the GSS342. For the GSS341, you have to zip tie the pump to the bracket, as it is not quite a perfect fit (like with the GSS342). But they don't come with instructions specific for you vehicle.
Also, I did not remove my back seats (sedan) to install it. I used a stubby phillips head screwdriver for the cover.
