Thumbs up FMIC too BIG?????

Hey guys,
I wanna run either a VF22, VF23,or VF34 turbo in my 02' WRX. I really like the Perrin FMIC and how much easier of an install it is then a lot of others and how it still has a flange in stock area for the BOV. However is this FMIC too big for these turbos? Is there such thing as too big? If this is too big which FMIC would you recommen?

Better safe than sorry I guess. Better to have too big than too small. That's what my girlfriend says anyway.

there is such a thing as too big when talking intercoolers. if the intercooler is oversized for the given application the boost temp will cool signicicantly, which sounds like a good thing, but with this a significant drop in boost will also occur. I don't know enough about these given applications, but an intercooler can be too big (unless it is more for show than performance).

The Perrin one might be a little on the big side for the ej20. If you want the bling then get a blitz or turboXs front mount. You'll be hating the lag the perrin is going to give you.
Unless you get something huge like a GT30R, a smaller fmic or a top mount would be ideal.

Or you could just get a quality top mount to improve spool up. If you are doing autocross heat soak shouldn't be as bad anyway.

r we talkin about mackin on eachothers....MOMS.....cuz well....u can read my name.....MUAHAHA. Instead of paying the 1000+ for a new FMIC, ide suggest going with a nice fatty TMIC....u will get less lag, and the same power for cheaper. just my $.02
