fmic question

I have a vf34 setup, and I was wondering if a blitz fmic is too big for the turbo? Which fmic works best with my set up?

Hehe...I don't think you can go too big on an intercooler. My coworker has a DR725 on a VF39 with no negative effects.

wrxguy is runnin a vf34, thats not stock yo

i too am wondering, i eventually what that same aps intercooler, however itll be awhile before i get the aps 55 turbo, i swear an intercooler that big would be a hinderance because the vf39 cant boost as high as lets say the aps55

Shiraz you big cutie. Why you gonna get an SR55? LAAAAAAAAAAAAG on a 2.0 MANG!

As for the front mount question, just get a big topmount for the 34. You won't see any difference in performance. Just think.....less than 1 foot of piping on the stock top mount.....the FMIC, you add like 5 feet of intercooler piping, and your vf34 has to fill that. It just doesn't push enough air to make the FMIC useful, you get a sweet looking front end, but i don't think that $900+ is worth it. Get the JDM(a little bigger than USDM) or USDM sti topmount and be done with it.

As to my knowledge, I thought the JDM topmount was a little larger than the USDM one. I'll have to double check.

Well I have the HKS GT 2540R turbo kit I had a Greddy front mount but decided to go back to a top mount so I bought the HKS top mount and I ended up picking up an extra 12hp not much but the car feels way better. You should probably got with a top mount.

I have the esx top mount on a vf22 setup and it's a very nice IC. I would recommend it.
