You could google em or hit the manufacturers sites. I have some sound clips of the Perrin, the hottest exhaust ever. Lemme know if you want them - I have one in my garage at idle and one at full throttle on the dyno.

Mine was the perrin twin tip. Looks like a stock exhaust for the '02/'03 just a little bigger (though not super noticeable).

Here's the clips:

2003 WRX, Invidia Downpipe, Perrin catback, VF34 on dyno

I definitely would. I loved that exhaust, and was an idiot to sell it to my friend I may buy another one when it's time to get it for my wagon.

Here is my 03 WRX on the dyno with a PDE uppipe, Stromung downpipe and the HKS catback exhaust. No tune 211 whp and 217ft/tq. Not bad. Some other guys with Cobb stage 2 were only putting down 10 to 15 more whp than me. The last pull was in 4th gear at 130 mph! Enjoy.

P.S. You can never go wrong with the HKS!

any opinions on the borla hush? i'd rather have an exhaust that's got a subtle tone (little rumble) rather than those high-pitched, droney or 'buzzy-sounding' exhausts. i'm more about performance than sound. i really want to keep that semi-sleeper look/sound to keep the pigs away

The HKS produces solid hp numbers but yes it sticks out. I personally don't like the Borla Hush, its too quiet for me but if your looking for a more sleeper look and not too loud then thats the one for you. Good luck. Are you planning on a new uppipe and downpipe too? That will make it a little louder as well.
