Im interested in getting a different exhaust. Currently I have a catted TXS TBE with the magnaflow muffler. Its a great exhaust but I want something more aggressive and full 3 inch. I've been looking at the single tip Perrin, Helix, Invidia G200, and the Blitz Nur Spec R cat backs. Is the blitz full 3 inch or does it taper down where it connects to the stock exhaust? I haven't heard much on the Perrin exhaust and haven't been able to find much info on it. If anyone has an opinion on these exhaust or can answer my question I would really appreciate it. Im open for suggestions on other exhaust. I really don't like the slanted exhaust though. Thanks.

 

when i had my bugeye, i was running a Tanabe Concept G. it was a full 3 inch, and wasnt angled much. although it wasnt a issue for me, the piping was non-resonated so it was very loud at WOT. as for the other exhausts, i havent really had much experience with them so i cant say anything neg/pos about them. I had no complaints whatsoever with my concept G.

Helix 3 inch all the way...i have a down pipe, up pipe, and cat back system...pretty loud but sounds great...i thirow in a silencer if cops are out heay...removable at the track...

 

I would keep the magnaflow (and I probably will for a while) but its a little quiet and its only 2 1/2 in. Its not loud enough for me and I plan on upgrading to a 18 or 20 g size turbo so it might become a restriction.

did you try looking at the reviews section yet? theres prob some feedback on those exhausts, i have a greddy evo2 so i cant help you here.

 

Keep the DP and see if you can get a custom made 3" intermidiate pipe ( I believe TXS goes from 3" to 2 1/2"). Then see if you can find a 3" axle back for sale.
