Thanks a TON, we couldnt find that...
We actually managed to get it all on without those, but we didn't use the stock springs or the muffler gasket, b/c we just took the whole thing off all together. We couldn't get each piece apart, so we said forget it and left it together...
THANKS agian...

I lOVE IT....
It's a Turbo Back catless.
It's not to loud at all... but it gives a nice sound. It really wasn't hard to install once we figured things out. You can really tell a big difference in the spool of the turbo.
I would recomend this Exhaust to anyone...
I LOVE IT

The other two exhaust systems I have been looking at are B&B TriFlo and ScoobySport. I had Scooby on my 2.5RS and loved it, but didn't really notice any power gains. I had B&B on my 300ZX, and it sounded awesome, but it took a while to get and again didn't notice the power gains. That is why I am leaning towards TurboXS because it seems to increase hp quite a bit.
thrower1283,
I'm thinking about getting this exhaust but heard that the O2 sensor was not long enough to reach the bung (and he removed the C clip). Did you have any problems with this?
Also have you felt any lose in low end power?

No, it fit you just have to cut to zip ties. The key is to unplug it from the car, screw it into the exhaust and then plug it back into the car...
No I haven't felt any loss in low end power.
I am very happy with my setup and look forward to tuning the utec...

Unfortunately too many of your authorized dealers don't tell people this. I debated purchasing this exhaust because I didn't want to deal with CEL issues and I was told the catted stealth-back "would not" cause a CEL on an STi. Does the TurboXS website even mention this somewhere? If this is going to be an issue, does TurboXS have a CEL fix for the STi yet?
thanks,

Paul,
On our STI we have yet to have a CEL issue with our exhaust and high flow cat combo. We don't have a problem so we don't have a fix.
My comments earlier were more or less in reference to the TXS exhaust on a WRX, which we do have a lot of experience with CELs and their fixes. Sometimes surfing nasioc and watching TV causes some erratic posts on my part. The split of the FFI forum doesn't help.
I don't think you'll have an issue once you get a working cat on the car, but with every modification that tampers with emissions equipment you should be aware that there is a high chance it will cause a CEL.
In addition, Turboxs exhaust systems are for off-road use only and is not in any way sold as emissions legal.

If it has a hi-flow cat then it is still legal. Also the WRX has 3 cats so if you get rid of one, switch one to a hi-flow and still have the 3rd I think you should be fine. Also, not all states test for emissions, most cars are made so they pass CA emissions, which are one of the strictest. Just an FYI
