Intakes dont do crap for stock wrx's, just take the intake silencer out and you get about the same 1 hp gain But since your getting a vf34 keep the intake.

I still don't think they Vf34 warrents an intake, It woud still problaby be easier to tune on a stock airbox depending on what kind of boost you want, if you are planning on pushing a lot, an intake might be benificial with a full ecu tune, cause it will just let you suck a lot of air. if you are running 15-18lbs i'd problaby still keep the stock air box.
