Just wanted to let you guys know the result of my dyno tuning. I hit 281.6 to the wheels and laid down 274.5 ft. lb of tourque. I was very happy with my result, especially because it was on 91 octane pump gas. My horsepower peaked at 6500 rpm, then started to drop. I was told that this happened because I was pinging too much on the top end and he had to reduce timing. There was too much back pressure due to my highflow cat and the tial wastgate dumping hot exhaust gases be fore the cat. I could gain a little more horsepower if I let the wastgeate dump into the atmosphere instead of dumping into the downpipe and advance my timing up top. The mods are as follow:
Hyperflow front mount intercooler
Perrin Fuel Rails
Pe 800cc injectors
Tial wastegate
Garrett Gt32 turbo
Custom downpipe and uppipe adaptor
PWR radiator
Zerosport thermostat
Perrin intake
Utec
Walboro Fuel pump
Stock clutch
stock intake manifold
I'm gonna change the manifold to an equal length manifold and let the wastegate dump into the atmosphere. I hope this will take me to the high 290's.
