DownPipe gasket

I installed the Invidia Down Pipe on my WRX to the OEM CatBack. I noticed that is leaking between the Downpipe and the OEM Catback. By any chance, anybody been through his problem before? What gasket you recommend to fix that.

i dont have an invidia or have seen one but im guessing that the dp has a flat flange like most other down pipes (helix, etc...). the thing is that the factory cat back uses a donut flange that hooks up to the factory down pipe. when the flat flange and the donut flange meet there will be a small leak. if you dont plan to get a cat back in the future i would take the cat back to a muffler shop and have a flat flange welded on there or have them tweak the donut flange. you could also just tighten the hell out of the bolts that hold the two pieces together and wait until you get a cat back. (fyi, the borla cat back will not work w/ an aftermarket dp since its designed to work w/ the factory dp)

I think you could try to double gasket it, and maybe that'll work.

Invidia Downpipe

Want to say thanks for the inputs received on the subject above. The problem was solved with yesterday, I followed iLogin input a made two gaskets of thick asbestos. I put one in the front of the gasket that came with the Invidia Downpipe and the other one on the back of it keeping the Invidia gasket in the middle and the leak was fixed.
