Difference in grounding mods?
I'm going to be doing the grounding mod on my '03 WRX... I'm getting some studdering between 2500-3000 RPMS which seems to be caused by the poor ground.
I was wondering if there is any advantage to buying a grounding kit from someone (the ones that offer up to 5 grounding points) vs doing the 3 point one shown here.
I know 2 more grounding points should be better, but I'm wondering if it's helpful?

Although I can't offer you a technical answer. I will say this....
Anyone that actually buys a grounding kit is a fool. It's ridiculous what they cost vs going to www.partsexpress.com and picking up all the crimps and 8ga wire you need for 1/3rd the cost.

I never bothered to price a grounding kit, but I'm sure they are outrageous.
I guess I should revise my question... is it worth doing the extra 2 grounding points that most kits use? Or will the 3 points in the scoobymods thread I linked above do the job?
It's not much more work, but I just don't see the point of having extra wire run in my car if I don't need it.

I used this link to do my own grounding mod: http://www.dreamspeedonline.com/html...stallation.htm
Bought all the parts for $30. Unfortunately, I still notice the stutter just below 3K rpm. Email/PM me if you want any order info (part numbers, quatities, etc.).

I already had a volts gauge installed in my car before doing the grounding mod and according to the gauge there was no difference, I noticed no difference in my idle or performance. Basically its not worth buying a kit and I can't even see how it would be worth making a kit since any returns (if any at all) wouldn't be enough to justify making it and installing it.
