so i just did a vf43 turbo, walbro fp, 565 pinks, ebay tmic, and im getting the code i noticed a lot of people get. the dreaded p0442, evap system leak this is the third time ive pulled it, ive sealed the cap that gives access to the fuel pump, because i read that is a common leak spot, there is no smell of gas coming from my injectors, ive checked out that little blue fitting near the alternator, didnt even move the intake near that area to break it...

i do smell, however, a gas smell near the drivers door when my windows are down and when i step out of my car after driving it. im not sure what that could be, as the only thing i touched around there was exhaust parts.

i have NOT replaced gaskets yet, like an idiot i know, but once i get the time i will be doing that, every gasket from the exhaust mani back to the cbe. maybe that will help, but does anyone have any suggestions? im stuck :/
