Cleaning BOV ?
I have searched the boards and I haven't found it again.
I remember seeing a thread about cleaning off a BOV. I have a GFB Hybrid and any information on it would be really helpful. Thanks
Austin

easy
That’s an easy one. Unscrew the screws on the top making sure to hold the top down as the spring will spring flying off somewhere in space. Pull the brass piston/valve out and clean it and the inside of the BOV. Use WD-40 to clean it. You don't even need to remove the BOV from the car. Leave light coat of oil, I use Milltec-1 on the piston and the inside of BOV. Put back together and it will work better.
I just did this to my TurboXS BOV that everyone seems to be having problems with. It had no oil in it at all. Adding a little oil makes a world of a difference, and now it works perfect.
