cheap engine mount idea
hey i thought about something?
with the eclipse engine mounts there is a way that you can add 1/4 inch of polyuerathane at a time and let it cure and just build it up to where the entire mount is filled with it. you cannot fill it up at once because it takes about 45 days to cure but it only takes 2 hours a layer to fill layer by layer. so i have heard that this works for the eclipse engine mounts..
would this work for the subaru wrx mounts???
i know this sounds ghetto but a tube of polyurathane is not that much.....
would this work?? or are the engine mounts have more metal??
the sti tranny mount has the holes filled in with polyurethane compare to the stock one.....
am i making sense??

Ah yes, I'm sure you could do it, but DSMs are all about garage engineering. Get it running somehow for as little money as possible. We actually have a readily available better solution, whether it be the STI GrpN mounts, or taking a step up to the Cusco ones. I can't remember seeing any upgraded ones for DSMs.

you can also stick in some PVC pipes between the holes...this would help stiffin it up...you'll probably only need about half a circle of the PVC pipes...I've seen this in many hondas which turned out really well and stiff
