Catless Up pipe, Down pipe, and Catback exhaust how do they sound?

Hey guys just curious on my WRX I wanna run a catless up pipe, down pipe, and catback exhaust. Will it sound good. I mean does it have that mean turbo charged deep rumble or what. Also how will being catless help performance? Is it neccesary? And what kind of setups are you guys using hi flow cats, cats, or catless. Thanks for your help you guys rock.

Hey there!! Running with no cats does help performance...less of a wall for the exhaust gases to hit as they are leaving your car. The sound will be louder then stock but the deep rumble will depend on what type of system you get....like single or dual tip and straight throw design.

I have the TurboXS Turbo Back on with racepipe so no cats and it sounds great! Stromung also came out with their new 3in Turbo Back with the option of a catpipe or racepipe and it sounds great too! And since you are in FL you don't have to worry about the tests that those that live in CA have to worry about!

Let me know if I can be of any more assistance! When you start looking for an exhaust then look me up and I will hook you up!

Thanks,
Brian

I have a Random Technoloy's Turbo back and up pipe, It sounds sweet. Real low rumble, but loud. My neighbors tend to complain, but I live in a townhouse community and leave for work at 6 am.

You will definitely feel a performance jump, and let me tell you from experience, the APEX GT is loud w/o the silencer on. You'll be heard from a ways away. The sound is nice.

GO24JUNIOR - Yeah you should see a good gain in power and throttle response. Like my2003wrx said you will see that the Apexi GT is loud without the silencer...but that might be your bad in which it is fine! Waking neighbors up is fun!! LOL.

I can get you this set up too so let me know when you are ready to go!!

Thanks,
Brian
